Kunskapsskolan Bengaluru located on Sarjapur Road began in June 2017 with the focus to provide a truly enabling environment to contribute to the holistic development of each student. With a modern building housing infrastructure aligned to the open and transparent ethos of the educational program and spacious classrooms, the school is an integrated learning space. The school has facilities for basketball, tennis, badminton and football.

Dr. Shailaja Jayashankar comes with over 2 decades of experience in education, including 15 years in K-12 teaching and 5 years in EdTech leadership roles, Dr. Shailaja is a powerhouse of knowledge and expertise. She brings a robust background in various curricula, including CBSE and international programs, and has authored multiple Computer Science books.
Dr. Shailaja is a global education innovator and a renowned EdTech research scientist. Her commitment to integrating technology into education has driven positive change and addressed complex educational challenges with groundbreaking solutions. She has developed and implemented a highly successful Coding and AI curriculum, impacting over 1 million students and 5000+ teachers.
Dr. Shailaja passionately supports the KED program, believing that the traditional one-size-fits-all approach to education falls short of meeting the diverse needs of students. She believes that effective leadership involves inspiring and empowering both students and teachers to reach their highest potential. Her vision is to create an environment where every student is encouraged to pursue their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and become confident, independent learners.
